Do not ever leave the aisle with the item you're racking visible, even if that aisle has cameras.

The best ink
I'm yet to see a mass produced ink that is well priced and doesn't function as glorified paint or have so much dye in it that it'll never dry properly and leave a legible scar. Trust me man with a bit of effort and research you'll be able to find...

Chemistry 101:Beginner Ink Labs and Pics
Solvent based leather dyes (fiebings etc.) could work but like the wood stain they will be a bit thin. Purple, red and blue are generally the best for stains but they'll fade pretty quick, black will be best for longevity.

If that's all you got for being caught consider yourself lucky. I assume you're a minor but it's an easy felony vandalism charge where I'm at. They like to make an example out of people.
