Hi,

Im new to spray painting and i have been spray painting skateboards, then pencilling on a design and then painting with pens.

I spray paint with montana gold cans. Then i start to use montana acrylic markers, however i notice that the ink just doesnt hold well at all? It then starts to dry and crack and appears quite dull.

Is this because the acrylic pens are water based?

I would have assumed these pens would be compatible with the spray paint, but having no luck at the minute.
