I get up frequently and put in a good amount of work. I hit spots (NOT all) most writers in my city don't and I go through a fuck ton of paint. I don't do pieces; I do big and bold throw ups, tags, and holos. The idea is people a block or two down can see my shit and recognize it.

The fact is, most people have a way nicer style than mine and for this I would consider myself a toy. Obviously I want to better my style, but I am more interested in getting up. Painting and developing skill in chill spots doesn't do it for me.

Is there any respect or disrespect in this?

I wouldn't say my shits wack, its just most people have much better style.

Vandal over Art. Id rather just throw something quick, public, and move to the next spot. I can't say my shit gets ragged mostly because I am looking for new spots and don't go looking at spots I've already hit. Some of the hotspots I notice get buffed pretty quick though..

I notice some active writers in my area have some really dope styles but you really have to go looking for their ups. As a writer would you recognize and respect someone new to the game for getting up or would you not carry much respect for them because their shit is less than experienced?

Yea i wouldnt give to much respect for getting up and it being shitty(compared to more stylish writers)...especially if its fucking everywhere, people are just gonna get pissed off and really start buffing that spot...yea you might get remembered but probably not in a good way

Yeah. I’ve decided to take my time on getting good at throws and better tags. Like no prices for me right now. That seems wack. But. I’m getting great practice on styles. !
