ya ik, but then you can be all, thats etched in BLOOODDDDDDdddd then you are wicked hardcore. and there isnt a widely availible red stainer
Just found something out. Some antibiotics turn your urine red , and I remembered that methylene blue turn your pee blue so they might have some kinda of link. Phenolphthaleine is the thing in antibiotics that cause the color change to occur and is more commonly know as Methyl Red , so you can get methyl red from antibiotics ( probably really strong ones ) grind it up and add it to your red ink and you have bleed thru red
^phenophthaylene or whatever it is turns red in prescene of alkalines, so when u add break fluid, an a cid it changes back to clear. it was in one of my olf chem kits.
Run it through an old sock you don't want anymore (Not one with holes though), maybe that will filter out some of the excess pieces of lead and charcoal.
^coffee filters are bossss, i use them everytime i put some powder in my inks, in case i put too much. it heps a load, just put the filter lining a funner, and pour the ink in
got a few pms asking about illadelphia's ink heres the stain left off his Inside Job after it got buffed. Mind you, this was outside on a metal bench so it got a fair amount of sun and wear, and its vey smooth. Still held up well. None of my inside tags have gotten buffed yet,l but ill cop a pic when they do
So i made an ink comptising of leather dye, break fluid and acrylic paint but it seems that the acrylic just absorbed the dye colour and kept its thickness. Did I 1:use too much acrylic 2:use too little dye(i poured in half a bottle) 3: should i add water to thin it down?
You attempted to mix paint with leather dye. Acrylic paint is water based paint, leather dye is alcohol or spirit based dye. I'm not a hardcore inkhead, but that might be a problem.
break fluid is strictly for inks, not paints. but thats not the problem. just saying for future mixes.
Alright guys ive been doing some reading and cant really find exactly what im looking for.. so heres the deal. I was around school the other day and found a shit load of acrylic paints in photography class so i took them. Now before i go experiment and waste them on trial and error i was going to ask for some input. what you guys mix the paint with? what works best in your opinion? I already now the standard paint thinner and break fluid but is there anything else i should throw in there aside from all this blood you guyys are talking about? haha. thanks
threw up some tags last night and instead of dripping they just smeared downward again =( im guessing its a combination of the low temperature and metal surface
don't use ink in the cold man. it just expands and makes it look like poop. EDIT: unless you really got good control.
