no, noones ever heard of pilots.. ahahaha yeah man. id use the stock ink till theres no more, cause its actually not that bad, then refill it with ink of your choice. careful that your inks not too thick though, cause then it wont flow through.
No one has heard of em but yet they are a classic.... Dont rip out the cotton in it, that just fuck it up, when ur done using the ink thats already in it (urs are empty so w.e) just fill it w. ur own ink and keep using it. Heres mine....
