i have a bottle of ink like this from an art class... [Broken External Image]:http://p.office1000.com/vp3/44314SAN.jpg is there anything i need to add too it before using it in a mop
higgins is only slightly better than india ink. boil the ink to evap any form of water, and after that thin it down with a lil alcohol to a favorable consistency, you can mix it with some leather dye but nothing special like pilot or marsh, it'll weaken the marsh and pilot or whatever. add a little dot 3. and you're done.
well its just an additive to make it more perm. and help it stain more. if you use higgins alone, i doubt it'll be as good as if you were to mix it with leather dye.
word... yea i put it straight in to one of these... [Broken External Image]:http://www.business-supply.com/sku_images/image/1010043608.jpg but it was pretty blotchy by itself...
the nib on that is really weak, go rack a kiwi or a bingo dabber. unless you're only using the mop as a one time thing, then go for it. but the nib sucks.
yea its not the best thing... we just have tons of them at work... and its easy to use...ill try and get a pic of how it writes
blue kellys shoe dye add to home brew and walla bleed thru ink!!!!!!!!! and blue an red krink turn shit brown then fade
sorry SAID. my fault, didnt read your post properly. i was talking about orig. silver krink. never heard of this new stuff, is it that bad?
i find it fades so quick homie. tagged, next day it was already starting to fade. whats a good ink that doesnt fade in the sun?
SAID - you tried leather dye in your recipe dude? that shit seeps into ALL porous surfaces, i dont know about the sun but it cant be completely buffed without some proper industrial shit. leather dye+marsh and you shouldnt go wrong really.
hit or miss, but im guessing you mean mixxing black hair dye from the box and throwing it in a marker,i dont think its worth it, its to thick, but im shur there are plent of salon grade shit that would be a good add, maybe go to your local beauty supply place and poke around.
