I racked a deco from Michael's a few months back and I HATE it. No matter what I do, it doesn't flow. I'll be like 3 letters in, IF that, and it just stops or gets streaky. Any suggestions?

You probably racked a fabric deco.

try juicing it some more. if that doesn't work then put a nice dent in the body of the marker (bite it or gently hit it with a hammer) That will raise the internal pressure and make the paint flow more.

not much, but all paitn pens do that, they clog if u write over acrylic, or over not compeltely dry paint, and shit liek taht, make sure u let ur shit dry liek 24 hours before u write over it wiht a deco. unless ur talkign abotu taggin with a deco, which is not smart, they are so small

I have big stuff to tag with. But what does it hurt to catch some smaller tags here and there? Sometimes smaller is better depending on where and what you're tagging. Thanks everyone. I'll try that stuff. Good idea with the denting too Vagrant. I would have never thought of that.

Nope. It clogs on EVERYTHING. I tried it on stickers. Nothing. Seems too thick. Shoeboxes. inside and out. wood. plastic. only thing I haven't tried it on is metal. I emptied it and filled it with custom black ink. It still doesn't flow right. The blue from before is still showing more than the black I just put in and I pumped the nib at least 100 times. I'm a lot happier with Painter's brand. Which is sad considered how much everyone brags up Decos.

The fabric decos that I have only work on fabric, and streaks if its on paper. and there is a difference, the paint in the regular deco's contain xylene, whereas the fabric decos dont

I shook the living hell out of it. Still nothing. And when I emptied it it wasn't chunky or anything. My Painter's are getting the same way. I used to do fills with them on stickers and they were sick. Now I have to juice them twice on each letter. I guess I just let them sit around too long. Would this be the right thread for mop questions too? I can't find a mops thread.
