Some wise words in this thread, and some brutally pathetic ones as well. I worry about finding spots before picking them, then try to get creative and make the most out of it.
yeah there are some stupid fucks up in here... i like behind fenced areas on a wall at 3 am... noone can see you because it's dark. dark means absence of light. and i wear black too. so that means that if there's no lights out, AND i'm wearing black... DUDE THAT'S LIKE 5% CHANCE OF BEING CAUGHT! at most... fuckin' ay i gotta go try this. haha.
odds are if its really hard to get up there theres only gonna be one or two ways up or down so it might be easier for the cops or whoever. but its still a good point cuz sometimes they might not even see a way up or down.
its easy to pick a spot u need the gear thats all in LA most people take a group we use walkie talkys and sometimes i baby sit an area to check traffic
i could care less about any of my stuff being seen because i dont write for the public i write because i like what i do and i like doing it. plus if you work so hard for something why put it when you know its going to get taken down in a matter of days or weeks and if its a really good spot, sometimes even hours.
good point, but if it was a good spot it would be there for a while. i think a good spot on the highway is next a bush sort of at an angle where oncoming traffic can't see it right away, but it still stands out like fuck when you're driving by. or if other writers are looking for graffiti will be looking for it. those usually stay unbuffed the longest.
well a few criteria for me near main roads easy escape path somewhere easy get not many people at night
yeah like allies are bomb i mean people can only come from the side or other side so its pretty simple to get stuff done in there
mmm soe threads i dont get. i pick my spots if i see a spot i want. then i plan it out. hand, throw, burner. i stalk it out for like a week to know how much traffic is there and the chances of getting seen going in and out. first few times i go i dont bring paint i bring a cam witn NO GRAFF PICS ON IT!!!!. if i get seen i pull the im a art student (i really am) and thought it be a great spot for a picture for my project. then when im ready to do it i just feel relaxed and go at it becasue i spent so much time planing it. this is probly why ive never bin cought and why i dont really get up as much as other poeple but ive never even had a close call with the law. never had to run from any one and never done anything i wasent proud of.
well if its a hand or a throw i wont wait weeks. hand or throw like on night check it out next night do it. sorry if you dont agree but im a always freeked of getting cought so thats how i do it. sorry im not as bad ass bomber like you in my gay collage town where there are under cover cops and bike cops trying to get kids for underage drinking but you never know who is a cop or not so i get freeked.
Lawwwwlllll you must not get up much kid You seem like one of those guys that only catches two tags and wears a mask for using a streak All my stuff is spur of the moment shit unless I've been round there before If you're doing some burner or something you might check but seriously fo like tags and stuff? I've seen cops drive by me when I'm doing a streak tag or a marker tag or something without stopping Maybe I'm just lucky but still chill out and go catch some tags do some bombs and just go write you'll have so much more fun and it relieves so much stress when you put up a bunch of tags
