This looks waaay nicer than that piece you keep tryna do. A lot cleaner. Black is typical for 3D so your good. If you went and painted that as opposed to your other thing, people wouldn't suspect your a toy.

It doesn't hold structure and there's a lot more. Your just not ready for piecing yet. It's fine to play around with it and stuff but you have to have a solid grasp on the fundementals in order to correctly manipulate them. It's a good start tho.

Sorry no room for the R, and I decided not to color it after seeing how much detail is lost with the black

The reason I want you to do straight letters is because it's how you learn letter structure and uniformity. Since graffiti is a font based art, its especially important to learn those. Notice how all the stem of all the letters are th same height and width. This is same with the arms of the letters. Take the E and L for example. The L is just the E without the top and middle arm.

    ok thank you
actually most of the stuff you mentioned is stuff i already realized when looking at the piece but i think you got some of the letters mixed up
also i did really like the R and the style of the E although like you said it does need a bit of work for the extensions.
This is another picture but I drew over it so you can see the letters. i should probably make the letters clearer

Whats chissled? the letters or the fill . That fill is called beveld .

This is chiseled. And also super simple

This is bevel filled . With a almost chisle style

Edit : if you really want to progress in graffiti you must learn the basics do simple 1000s of them .
Drop all extensions until the beginning to flow natrualy . A well balanced and flowing word or group of letters dont need extra
.not every space needs to be filled with something .
You don't need arrows to protect your letters . You don't need style . You need to learn basics of how letters are suppose to bend and not bend . Then style comes . Style can only be made once nosing the foundations . Dont run around being a paccaso lmfoao .
