    or rit dye and acrylic

and chartpacks... ive never really used so i dont know.. i hear theyre similiar to prismacolors, theyre used for blackbooks not tags or anything

Chart Packs are sketching markers. Your thnking of chalk markers.

Michael's has no good ink. The only worthwile thing there is markers and other things.

And anyways, why the fuck are you posting this here? This is the OTR markers thread, and what you posted had nothing to d with OTR's.

i posted it here because i was thinking about ordering an OTR and was wondering if anything was similar to an OTR so i wouldnt have to order it.

Just go to Michael's or another art store. Look for Woodcrafts, Terra Cotta's, or Zig 2 in 1 glue pens. They are exactly like OTR's, but free.

Hey guys sorry if this has been asked or anything but if you were to choose from Black Flowpen or a Hard to buff what would you get?pros ,cons?

    cheers

Neither, they both suck but I'll help you out.

Flowpen ink is kind of see through, it's not really a solid dark color. It looks like a ghost somewhat.

HTB is very opac and is the same exact body as a Flowpen.

I would personally get the HTB if I was you. Both have horrible ink, and are insanely easy to buff, but the markers themselves are nice.

Get a Krink marker, Uni Paint, streaker, or make your own markers.

the cold sweat has a little larger nib, and it uses tar/nitro based paint, aka bitumen ink. They pretty much stole Mr. Black's idea of having tar/nitro based ink, which they've had for a while and have in multiple colors, they also have started making markers, so I guess that's why otr decided to copy
"0.8" tips, ink/bitumen marker- The OTR.071 Cold Sweat marker is a ink/bitumen marker, giving you the same effect and permanent writing as a tar black. The marker comes with a flat nib, larger than the original OTR.070 marker. Pump-system marker and refillable with the ink of your choice."

I know the ink will suck, but I ordered a Circle Tip. Should be here soon, I'll let you guys know how it is. Otr's still suck, but maybe they did something right for once with the circle tip.....
