just saw poison the well this past week for the second time. their shows are so good. next week im seeing heavy heavy low low, the atomic ballroom calamity, foxy shazam, tera melos, and dance gavin dance.

I roll with a couple hardcore kids. Alot of them are tight as hell. I got a friend who's 'hardcore'. Sucker got me hooked on Jedi Mind Tricks. As for the music, not too terribly fond of it. I respect it as music, but it hurts my ears. Oh, by the way, what up, I'm new to the forum.

yeah, i do. and i know that hardcore is much like metal in that it has MANY different sub-genres. what i like for hardcore may be way different from what you like. and just because i go to a show doesn't mean thats the ONLY thing i listen to. i dont give a fuck what you think. what shit do you listen to?
Poisen the Well and Heavy Heavy Low Low are not hardcore. Listen to more...CDC, Suffokate, Stick to your guns, The Warriors, Bury Your Dead, Hoods, Recon...Stuff like that is hardcore..I would have to disagree with the reply to my post above...xRepresentx kills it there live shows are the shit.. I use to listen to some Oh Sleeper and Bane...Of corse I like Casey Jones Gwen Stacy and shit like that Champion is good also...
Yea I think they have metal Influences but I think they lean towards hardcore..With break downs two step and circle pits..
