i dont really like Fruity loops for composition. It's all about the synth with FL. Reason is supposed to be good. Havent gotten new shit since i got my tables.

it's all I use now, the synths and midi instruments are fucking ill..

I used to be all about cubase, but since I got into reason I haven't used anything else

Traktor 3, hmm.. or Virtual DJ, vdj has timecode built in so you can use vynil to scratch, or burn a timecoded cd...

update on the numark battle pack i got a couple months back
if you are thinking about buying them, dont.
not worth the money, there really cheap and the mixer is the most inferior piece of shit i have ever seen
i have learned a lot on them though, but if you want to get into DJ'ing and scratching, use your friends equipment and go from there
btw i got fruity loops but that shit is in greek to me =(

FAZED u make beats?!! peep my shit

    myspace.com/thesisthelasttime

today we had a lil jam sesh with my side project "Pretty Rape Machine"
we listened to a few of my beats while a few guitar players/drums/horns/basses/pro keyboard players figured out shit in there heads along with lyrics... shit should be a good mix over my harder beat along with my triphop.... get on to another level of music just mashing it all together

all the heads are off the chain... so should be a good side project
