I honestly haven't really looked around for rubber based paints. I got mine obviously at the pool store so they had typical pool colours and jacked up the price because they called it a "specialty" paint. I'll run a google right now :)

    Edit:

Seems like they have a special thinner just for rubber based paints as I thought they would.

here is a colour chart for some rubber based paint. It is obvious that the colours are kinda limited.

Seems like the only place to buy it is at pool stores so it seems like this idea went down the drain as most of the 1 gallon things of paint are in the 50+ range..... yea..... a bit much for my budget haha. And it'd be kinda hard to rack it. here's a site to buy in case money is no object to you.

This is how I see KR making his krink. I've found that when alcohol and oil paint is put through a sponge they somewhat combine together. Weird, huh? I found out by putting GK and alcohol-based ink in a mop. *ShakeHard* Then juice the sponge nib and I squeezed the rest of the ink out and it mixed together. No one tell me I'm lieing, I saw what I saw and I'm telling the truth. Then I let it sit for awhile and it didn't separate. Can someone tell me WHY?

i know junobo eventually like peels off of whatever you put it on. but if you mix oil paint and some oil-based rusto bucket paint together, that won't peel, will it?

no... oil + oil = oil haha. Junobo peels due to it being either acrylic based (i'm pretty sure it's acrylic based) or latex based which all comes down to one thing, water based. Oil based is the shit they paint wood with, that shit won't come off anytime soon.

Yo, I got a question. I just racked this kiwi mop today, dumped out all the shit and replace it with some ink. Now, the first batch I made I put rubbing alcohol, and blue acrylic paint. Did the same with this recipe, except I thought since I'd be making more and adding more paint, I'd need more alcohol. So added it and everything, it turned out shitty as fuck. SO, this really, really, toy dude at my school has the big pilot jumbo marker and I was wondering how that ink would work in my kiwi mop. So, how would it work?

I don't want to call you an idiot or call you a bigger toy than the "toy" at your school but...... sorry, I'll refrain from saying that. Alcohol+paint= don't work. Next time either thin the paint with water or add some pens to that alcohol. As for Joker, its the same concept as the self outlining ink. It'll seperate just give it some time. I pretty much see it as a waste of time to mix perfectly good ink with some paint but w/e, that's on you. That is, unless you are working on the same thing that me and vagrant were talking about. :)

Im some what working on a recipe something like krink but not fully, a paint that can stain. I know, I know that paint dosn't stain but I want it to. Personally I hate valve flow makers and love mops, free flows, stuff like that. and sintak, I am a toy but I experiment as much as possible, been written for 5 years now so. I'm defiantly not a ink god or some shit for sher but I am just trying to understand ink alot better. Most of the time I am just phucking around sooooo.....Can't really blame me. I defiantly admire all the people that have contributed too this forum and all ink treads.

One of the first rules was to keep it on topic and that's pretty much what I'm gonna do. Fuck it if I piss some people off or step on some people's toes. I'd clean up the thread as it grew myself if I could but I can't so I'm just gonna have to report posts and hope that they are seen to.

Since the old thread got removed, there was so talk about Iron Oxide III (Rust), what's the deal with that?

Edit: Blitz people either edit or delete your post. Don't bother cluttering the thread with beef. If you wanna settle some beef battle or at least take it to fucking pm's
