naw dude this is actually more dangerous than etch i think. liek if you do it wrong you get this pressure sensitive explosive that explodes even if you liek breathe on it. and the crystals subliminate liek at room temperature, so idk how this could be used in inks.
If you got it from school it will be resublimed, just stick some in ur ink n try it out lol. Edit:Would the sublimation not leave a stain behind, making it good? lol

I have Iodine crystals in my room right now and they have been okay for months. The explosive thing is called " exploding paste" and happens when you mix ammonia and iodine crystals and you are left with a paste. When the paste is dry it is very sensitive to vibration and explodes on contact usually with just a very loud bang and some purple smoke. I tried adding about 6 small ball crystals to a batch of red ink and it makes it very brown orange ( but the ink mix was shit anyway , dud red ink pens) Just leaving a crystal on a pit of paper for 1 minute makes a brown stain come off it. If you guys want be to experiment , I have everything to knock something up, just givve me ideas ! Just wondering If anyone else / you likes it. I think it makes it a little darker, and it definitely thickens ink. One thing I hate though is it reeks. What do you like about it muse?
stainability maybe? haha i ues that upon 6 other ingredients for my ink. so it has a different smell then wat ur smelling due to all the other inks mixed in w. it
iodine is a clear liquid that stains brown if your cook it at all you will test positive for meth im pretty sure that and silver nitrate make stealth bombing ink the invisable kind im to lazy to make it and dont want to test positive for meth ask rougue he knows whats up him or biz
Iodine is good for ink. add a couple drops for every half cup of ink. And I found meth blue at my local grocery store yesterday. Yeah.
