sorry for the shit ton of pics. 35 mm, hand developed haha, I know the lighting sucks and theres a stain on it, but it's still one of the greatest signs....ever. ((^^^he's standing on top of a mausoleum)) I think it's pretty obvious what's older and what's newer.
thaaanks. Yeah, I started learning my sophomore year in high school and got better and better each year, then when I graduated my art teacher gave me an enlarger and some chemicals. that's what being a teachers pet will get you, haha. but yeah, def, if you're in school take a course, it's worth it. b&w is my favorite medium ever.
It's not the difficult you just have to be a good photographer and take lots of pics because unlike DSLR normal film SLR's don't show you the picture instantly so you don't know if you are over/under exposed, blurry, stuff like that.
I used my 35mm all the time. Finally saved up enough for a fancy new nikon dslr. Big jump from my ancient minolta, I'm loving the whole instant picture stuff now... it spoils me =P Screwing around with lighting... and my cat. I'm saving up for a Canon Rebel XTi DSLR. Can't wait to move up from my Canon Powershot A630 (I totally love this camera though as I can use filters and lenses with it and it is a Point And Shoot) to the sexy Canon Rebel XTi
uhg, If I had a penis, there's a very good chance I would whack it to the cannon rebel. I have a cannon t76, it's before the rebel, but I still love it. also, your kitty is adorable, great pic. I love that her head is in focus but he fur isn't....makes her look extra fuzzy. which make me want to show off my baby girl She's so awesome, it's okay that it's a digital picture, haha.
Yea hand developed in the d room. I havent used digital yet. I do believe its better most of the time but i also believe that people should learn their lighting first with a regular camera. That pic is two years old and alot of my other old stuff is one the first 2 pages. You have some nice pics but some are really grey. Probably from when you were starting. A good investment for a 35mm camera is a red filter for the lens. It contrasts the lighting more and just looking through it gives you a good idea of the lighting.
