Well, for one its more of a throw then anything, Second dont worry about backgrounds till you can get a fill, outline, and forcefield down. and i dont know what you were doing for the black keep it up though homie
yeah bro thats a nice simple, few bits to fix here and there... you've got all straight letters "MAN" but "e" is a curved letter. that wont flow well. try an "E". Lose the indents on the M and the ones on the N aswell. And chromes a good contrast colour, heaps of outline/band combinations that work. Good colour to learn with. Similar letters to me (WINE). Simples is where its at bro. Keep it up.

Cman: when you go over your outline by mistake with the background colors, redo the outline, it makes it look much cleaner. also you should do your lines more than once anyways if you're using cheap paint. my $0.02 any crits for this one? (other than not putting the whole word in/fill? i didnt have enough space to fit boink ) oh, and hello bs edit: sorry, meant to put this in the throwup thread

lol yeah i wrote it a couple days ago, now that the "hey just finished" feelings gone i realize how unfinished it is. just recovered the board and am waiting for the paint to dry, i'll post up a pic when i redo it. ty for crits
