ya converse arent so good for climbing fences but theyre really light so if you getting chased er something you could bookit pretty fast in them

you dont need any of that claw shit (no offense), i do parkour and it makes climbing so much more easy but you dont need to know parkour to climb anything, just do what STR-WHO said - just get your shit togther and climb

 

if ur looking for shoes that help, adidas skate shoes have sick soles

 

the best shoes for climbing are La Sportiva because theyre sole is made from stealth rubber

Why wouldn't you wear converse? i wear dunlop volleys are good? (guessing you guys have them)

Converse have really slick toes, they don't grip fences for shit. But yeah if you're just running, they're great for it, light and won't slip off. I wear globes when I know I'm going to be jumping fences. and Messtonic, I have the same problem right now- A killer rooftop spot but no way to get there from the outside. I considered breaking into the building below it to take the stairs but thought....Nahhhhh.

 

I wear some old nike running shoes. not much grip though. but great for running.

 

adidas would be one of the best shoes for runin, or real running shoes, some basekitball shoes are good for runing tho , thats what i use.

Do lots of stretching, before you work out and when you wake up in the morning and stuff. Parkour is gay as hell. It's so embarassing to see these kids downtown running around jumping shit trying to look cool.
