Furreal. I wish I had a legal alley. We have a skatepark you can do shit at, but you can only do it on the ground which is pointless for wheatepaste since your gonna have feet, skatebaords and all shit going over it. and last night i put up my biggest poster yet. It was pretty retarded. It took way to long because the wind was blowing and the paste was very thin. But its up though, ill get a picture tomarrow if they didnt tear it down yet.

Thanks Indigo. That means alot coming from you.
Motivational speech- (haha).... I see alot of potential in this medium. The quality of work we can put up, the size, and the spots we can hit with it are unparalleled. I LOVE to rock letters, but the attention that a dope poster in a heaty spot can get is too much to ignore. Fame in graffiti can be achieved through dope styles and tons of risky effort, but most all of the fame you get is only from other writers and we make a small ass percentige of the community. Posters will get you fame with most of the community if you plot and use your head to push it to the next level, and I like that. I started graff in my city. There was nobody serious before me, but there's a couple kids out here who could burn me at piecing, but the only artist that most everybody knows here is me, and that's not bragging, that's the power of the poster... If you want fame, wheatpaste. It will seperate you from all the other cats out there. I've been afforded great opportunities from wheatpasting, financial and otherwise. If you clicked on this thread, try it out and go get up. It's fresh... peace.

Well the only other place to tag on is the ramps. and if you do that, then they close down the park for like 2 weeks to clean them, and then you get your ass beat by a bunch of pissed off skater kids. haha

You guys have active council members...you lucky bastard you.
It seems that if over 6 kids severly cut their limbs on broken glass that has been littered through the park, it's still not a good enough reason to get a council cleaner to remove the glass.
Closing down the skatepark for two weeks because of a tag?
hmm it seems like your council members have nothing better to do ay.
Indigo you rock my socks, but i have to say the above pictures definately aren't the best work iv'e seen from you. the writing sounds a lot like every second emo-esque girls profile description on myspace. The jimmi Hendrix is awesome though, id be stoked to have a couple of those slaps.
    love RUPE

You did know Indigo's a girl right? Anyway, I really liked them. The burned look is dope and I always have a soft spot for emo messages. haha. Those Jimi ones are super tight as well.

I finally got the lyrics up with this fucker. It wasn't easy because we haven't had this much rain here since 1904, literally. It sucks. You only get a few hours in between storms to put something up and just hope it sticks. Anyway..

    heheheh
yeah, I'm a girl, and sometimes I get all emo and shit.....lol
The text is actually from a book my mom gave me last time she visited called "Wise Women" - it's all portraits of famous elderly women and quotes from them talking about what it's like to grow old....for whatever reason that phrase just stuck with me.

Anyways. I agree that the Jimi was the best one of the bunch. And I'd be more than happy to send a few stix your way, just PM me with your mailing addy. (and be patient, cuz I'm trying to finish up a bunch of trades right now and I do each one by hand so it takes a while :)

Nice words Cezr. if you're down for c/c I would say that....I would have liked to see you round off the corners on the text poster. It would blend in better with all the rounded edges on your other work. But as always that's some dope shit.

Been raining here too. I hate it. It makes me sad. It's June! It should be summer by now, damnit!

I don't get why everyone is so concerned about the paper, even normal printer paper works..

Not so much the thickness, more the size I'm interested in.

ATM I use wrapping paper, but have to put a few sheets together to make anything a nice size.
