at my walmart at about 12 at night they turn the scanners off, but all the cans there have a barcode sticker the dumbest fucking idea ever. so you can just slip that off and walk right out.

heres my plan, put alot of cans in a trash can, but it in the garden center, come back at night, cut the fence, grab the paint, and dip.

i just had that plan on the last page... but it was better. put the paint in a trash can, buy the trash can at the self check-out. you get 25 cans for $10 and you wont go to jail for breaking and entering the store.

sorry for double posting but... what the fuck is the barcode gonna do? they have no security purposes what so ever. there not gonna put the security strips on cans either. you guys are making it harder than it actually is.

not to be rude, but do you ever find yourself... completely embarrassed when you talk? I just don't understand why, or even HOW some people can say some of the stupidest shit ever without knowing better, seriously when it comes to things like this, shut your mouth if you don't know what your talkin' about 'cause you could be givin' out some serious mis-info. I'm not a car technician, so I'm not gonna reccommend anyone use silly glue on their carberutor, since your dumb and know nothing about stealing, or even stores, don't give the internet an even worse name by being an idiot and putting out bad info.

So I'll give you a chance to redeem yourself, first wtf 'scanners' are you talking about and how do you know, without a doubt, that 'your' walmart turns them off.

Second, what exactly are you referring to ' bar code sticker' do you seriously mean the price tag? 'Cause you need to stop stealing know if you think THATS the thing setting off alarms.

But mostly, your post didn't make any sense. If they turn off the alarms (if this is what you meant by 'scanners'), why would you slip off the barcodes, or even the EAS tag which DOES set the alarms off?

Shit, no cans anywhere, at least unless someone wants to prove me wrong but from what I've seen in stores, NO CANS have any device on them that would make them beep when you go out the door. Especially not at walmart, well, just not at walmart...and if you waste your time peeling off the price stickers then thats just another easy way to get caught, and caught for something stupid. Like when lil kids take something out of a package when the store doesn't even alarms! Just silly.

But since your post was so poorly written, now I'm wondering if by 'scanners' you might have even meant 'cameras' which...I don't know I guess I just really wanted to tell a random stranger on the internet that you are a fucking idiot.

Seriously, what is wrong with people today? (including me for taking 5min out my day to flame some kid whos not even worth it)

ok to clear up all the confusion for the uneducated, the miseducated, and the just fucking dumbasses....

THESE WILL SET OFF THE ALARMS!

notice in the image in the top right corner they ARE barcodes but they are thick allowing for a circuit under them.

notice the circuitry. both of the above are callde RFID tags. Foil can sucesfully disable them if you have enough layers of foil and completely enclose it

THESE WILL NOT SET OFF THE ALARMS!
    [Broken External Image]:http://www.magellangps.com/images/faqs/2200_X_traffic2.gif

notice how the barcode is just a sticker. in the future im sure they will be rfid but we are not that far technologywise yet... its just a litttle sticker just like the slaps you put up.

most things that have the rfid tags you will see them (the thick ones) chances are anything htat is in its own hard case like this
    aimages.asia.ru_img_alibaba_photo_51355989_USB_Plastic_Package.jpg
then the chances are there will be a thin rfid tag in it and it WILL set off the alarm. especially if it has electronics in it

just use common sense, if its electronic its safe to say it has it.

if its a book, check the spine for a thin tall one

if its anything else and you dont see it, then your pretty much in the clear* because they cant open products and put them inside unless they are in hard plastic cases like above... i hope this clears up all the confusion. peace.

*dont blame me if you get caught because you dont check im just generalizing
