sorry guys you cant buy garvey at staples, infact the only ink ive found so far is india speedball at loomis, but if you want some ink like garvey you gotta order it like meeeeee

i just got 3 colours of garvey n some white marsh in today plus a shitload more, the marsh is killer it dries really thick.

Actually...you can buy Marsh at office depot but it isn't t-grade. Its more along the lines of 'k' grade stamping ink. Comes in the same canister. Haven't bought it yet so I don't know what the results would look like.

Today, i found a bottle filled with some of my ghetto black garvey and i put it in a mop and that shit is opaque as fuck. Its probably been sitting for at least 2 months or so and it comes out hella nice. Too bad you can just buff it with water.

I mixed it with some violet pen ink and it came out better. It had a blue tint with it. I tried scrubbing it with paint thinner and the top layer, which was black, came off but it left a blue layer underneath and i couldnt scrub it off with paint thinner. Pretty cool.

u can rack ingrediants to make an ink thatl shred acrillic any day plus ink stains and most of us hit transit and they buff b4 they paint over and if u bother to put effort into ur ink there will b a scar and when they paint over on trains or busses ur tag or tags have had a good run
if u think mixing acrillic with water ull b blown away by the concept of pen ink u mis them in isopropyl :0

geuss what they also stain a bit and dont look liek shit like acrilic does.

I always make pen ink. Im just saying people use acrylic because it is easy to make. All you gotta do is get a mop and just mix your shit in there. With pen ink, it takes a lil more time. I would of course use pen ink over acrylic, but acrylic is nice to use when the place is constantly getting buffed.

Here is my new ink (paint) that I just got done mixing, I'll have pics tomorrow, im still working on it a little though.

1 Part Rusto (oil) paint (Black, any color)
    1 Part Purple PVC Primer
1/4 Part (of above) Paint Thiner (if-y)
    Cap Full of Dot 3
    1 capsule of fish oil

Hard Purple Stain and Purple Tint, Drippy

If anyone has any suggestions, let me know! Again, this is still under production. I'm still mixing and matching the correct proportions.

I don't think you're suppose to mix paint and dot 3 together. I heard it gets all greasy and shit.

    do NOT use acrylic!!

do NOT use 1/3 paint thinner!!!

16oz white rusto ( or other oil based paints) one large tube of OIL based artist paint and some thinner to make it flow not to much or u f it all up!

PS: im gonna use red wood stain today to see how it is..
