Water base- Thin with water
Paint base (oil)- Thin with paint tinner/xylene
Paint base (acrylic)- Thin with water
Ink- Thin with alcohol

 

odds are, if you found it laying around at home, its acrylic base.

and those mops aren't the best imo.

yea but the dot 3 serves no purpose...its put into ink to make the drying time longer thus letting it stain harder....and well paint doesnt stain.

 

Yeah, realised when I tried to write with it. Works okay if I hold it upside down though.

Didn't get the mix too good with water based so I'mma buy some oil based paint and give that a shot.
