well, thats sort of a tricky one. basically it is because the UK is politically governed as one not as individuals. although thanks to devolution Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland self govern to an extent and enjoy benifits such as their own sports teams or health service they are all under the contol of Westminster ultimately. they all used to be individual countries before, but since the union a few hundred years ago they are united as one country with one passport.

because i have a decent education and have a general interest in politics. ha ha
its not really a matter of being clever as in working hard at school or anything, because i didnt, its more developing informed opinions by exposing yourself to what is going on in the world by taking an interest in reading the newspaper or having a meaningful discussion with someone and exchanging ideas once in a while.

    the uk isn't a country.

    its a "province" or whatever.

its four different countries. all with their own laws, sports team and etc.

    not that i care.

    aka a country.

we are represented politically in the international community as one country, we are internationally recognised as one country and we have one passport. although for example Scotland has the right to make some of its own laws, Westminster has the right to make laws through out the entire UK unreservedly. anyway fuck it.

I heard if bins are over filled you get a fine, which is pretty harsh for a family of 5 when they empty the bins every two weeks.
You love this country, your welsh?
