I remember when those kids from Ottawa came down and met Duro, later to be known as Kwota crew. Around 95 when I was really checking graff, the people I was loving were original GNB, the early Alex stuff, Puce (Never) and Soy, Cole, Meats, TRoach, Alone. Before that I always had tons of love for The Mighty REN, Hope, Kane original Rush Crew! Daser, Pro, Sec, MSK (I love finding those dam faces still around once in a while!) The thing that really blew my mind was the Evolution production on the Keele wall, that shit was hype. Just my thoughts, Peace.

all this talk about the good ol days is great i have a lot of thoughts when i read this page today i was at a party once when i was 14 "Jense" didn't like the point seven dime of ses i sold him but he was hammered as usual he smoked it then puked on his shoes lol then he vanished into the night as for "dwel" i haven't seen him in a long time but "Ryan" always talks about you, all the time, you junction head you. we went to the same high school in 96. Recka used to paint fat rc's in like 93 94 he grew up around me and gave me a sticker once at runnymede and st clair in the alley way his old rc is still there faded into the brick wall in a light green colour "heads up" lots of people change time does this to us crews beef all that crap but real will always remember the real and respect the culture as for myself im like ODB i like it raw. sometimes i just wish people didnt own computers they changed the whole game u can download anything for free well thats my opinion TAG YOU'RE IT!
I think history is great and people shouldn't forget it. But you also gotta look at the future. If everyone keeps living in the past and wishing it will come back. Graff will keep getting gayer and gayer. I think some older heads need to take a little responsibility and school some youngens so that the history and respect can stay alive. Instead of die. I'm not saying any idiot should be schooled to the game and anyone being schooled should defiantly have to work their fucking ass off at it to prove they aint some half assed fuck only in it for a minute. But you can't expect much from kids who just watch a graff video and go out there and just paint everything thinking thats what it's about. Of coarse there will always be losers like that. But I don't think anyone has the right to complain if they ain't doing anything to make it change. And it's only gonna get worse before people will realize they gotta do something about it to make it better. Thats just my opinion. Love it or hate it. It is what it is. - Peace. P.s. first flexpo was 95 at cne. dzine from chi-town was the big guest back when specs still used multiple colours(and painted for that matter) i primed the walls at the first 416 and maybe the weed/fumes got to me but i'm pretty sure it was right after flexpo. maybe i'm wrong tho. either way, they both started at around the same time. Big up Matt Robinson(Klaxon Howl) and Jonathon Ramos(REMG) for holding the torch. 416 was never the same after we lost the bamboo wall and had to move it. sec=msk. i didn't forget him. i mentioned demo. the real demo. all city like a mofo in '93 impressed that someone else remembers kid c, pez, etc. i only caught the last few remaining tags they had up since I started taking pictures in 1993. you're right, sady did influence all the scarborough heads but i've never seen him do a tag or throwup so he's a spraycan muralist to me. he definitely was like the godfather though. we were all so young and he really encouraged everyone. scarduro def got excluded. he painted the montreal lettering on the piece at SIP this year that seaz, akuma, omen and skyler rocked. it would be great to see him paint along with all of the other cats who still COULD but choose not to. cough cough, spydr, tack, cear, reslis, puce, cole, dwel, aero, etc I'm glad there's some other fogies who actually care. maybe i should write a book so kids can buy it and get up on game.
