03 jettas are big heavy, and just not fast at all.....old jettas, 92's are best....small, light, a 1.8....i tryed to find one but couldnt in the UK....

Vr6's are nice, but u cant do as much to them as a 1.8T

 

standard turbo? So its running about 2-3psi boost, prob at about 180/190bhp....and i didnt see the turbo.....but still its a heavy as fuck car....my civic with the shitty d16 is going to have 250-300bhp when ive turbo'd it, and its curb weight is around 1050kg....yours prob weights 1500kg+

 

Stock trubo in it runs 15psi.

Ive already got my Stage II coming in the mail.

Not to mention new struts,sway bar, coilovers, and bigger injectors.

And of course ur car is lighter, its a fucking civic. My boys GTI will eat ur civic.

hahaha a stock turbo running 15psi....if its running a 15 psi turbo on your 1.8....you wouldnt be at 180bhp....you would be on more like 300....i cant believe you just tryed to blag that the stock turbo was 15psi,....and if it is running at 15psi....then fuck...get another engine....

Me, my friends '00 GTI and my other friends '95 are all 1.8T engines, and come stock with 15 lbs of boost.

Plus, I never said I was at 180bhp, I said it comes stock with it.

The '02-'04 they raised the bhp from 150-180

And Jill, theres just something about the Perrin that i dont like. hah

 

then you all should of bought a better car....i know 2.0L NA engines which put out 160bhp....a b16a2 (a 1.6 vtec) gives out 164hp.....a 1.8 NA engine will most prob give out around 130-140hp....so whats the point in having a 15psi turbo that only adds 40hp? There either shit as fuck engines which have no response to any modification....or its not a 15psi turbo....or....its just not been mapped correctly at all.....oh the stock bhp of a 2003 jetta is 180hp...thats the GLS 1.8T.....

it might beat my civic at the moment as its sitting completley stock....i picked up my 97 civic coupe for 1250 pounds a month ago, with only 47K miles on it...i have my vtec d16y8 head ordered with all parts needed to fit....my skunk2 coilovers, my aem filter, my apexi ws2 exhaust, skunk inlet manifold and throttle body, got my ebay 4-2-1 exhaust manifold on the way as well, front and back strut bars, camber kits, new control arms, 16x7 konig alloys coming....then im waiting to get my tax rebate and next months pay to buy my turbo kit, which will probably only be running 7-8psi until i get my forged internals, new cams, valves and injectors....

 

Cause it comes stock with it...srry i cant buy a stock jetta with a Stage II

And i blew the doors off a 2.0 the other day. They have nothing on a 1.8T

And cograts, im glad ur getting all this shit for u car. Good for u. But i can gaurantee u once i get all my shit in my car (and probably right now) ill have ur balls in acceleration and turns. I couldnt care less about hp, im not drag racing a jetta.
