I live in Tokyo, and by large city standards the scene isnt that great. Thats not to say that there arent really talented people writing, its just that they are few and far between. There are plenty of tags, stickers, stencil work, and throws throughout the city, but no one bombs trains. Tokyo has one of the largest (or the largest) train systems in the world but there is nothing written on em. I think its because of how well guarded they are as well as the implications of writing on them. Plus there are cameras everywhere. But people bomb the walls on the side of tracks quite a bit so you can see it from the train. If you go alittle outside central Tokyo there are alot more pieces and shit because the police are less heavy out there. Thats probably the toughest thing, the police patrol so heavy in Tokyo. They have mini police stations throughout the city and cops patrol on bikes all night on the narrower streets. To sum up Tokyo I would say that graffiti is more prominent in certain areas of the city rather than the city as a whole.
im going to serbia in a while, so ill check out your town stewa, but right now im in the small town of santa cruz, CA. it sucks cuz i dont know any of the people who paint here there are only a handfull like daze, dae, some guy who draws this thang that reminds me of a fish, and some scattered tags of random people who pass through, oh and me
the scene in my town sucks. theres a lot of toys (including myself) and everyone beefs with each other. i have two "crews" crossing me out all the time. an im pretty sure im the only one who doesnt do it to be cool.
