1st- ure a complete post whore and i hate ur enormous sig
2nd- ur tag haz no style simply some poeple has it and some others dont... take a look around you man compare ur "handstyle" to the others... it is simple writing man and you guys always put arows and useless stuff with no flow... -testify- your letters are so toyish id dont even think it would evolve... i aint a hater but im just telling what i think

heh, yes, theres some shitty ones on here but i think jam's is fine. dips look shittiy because its pixelated. if u havent noticed "SMOG" u are in the toy forum. called toy for a reason. lets see your perfect handstyle? btw no beef, i just found that post annoying. because i have seen some decent ones. to tell someone to just give up graff because there handstyle has not developed yet is stupid to me.

 

i was talking about those that ive seen in the last 3 pages... i think i saw 1 or 2 tags that shouldnt be here but still i dont even know why im on the toy section... actually a missed a link and ended up here and couldnt leave without leaving a comment... kuz ive seen toys with the same handstylle than you guys and they were practicing it for month and some for years and never ended up eith some decent shit

 

Thanks Fube. And as far as the drips, I did my tag on a piece of paper, scanned it, and did the drips with Photoshop CS2, the only reason they look so shitty on the post is because I had to resize it some.

 

why is it wet? I mean i looks cool but drop the drip. Nice

 

yeah im with smog, why do you guys add al crazy arrows and commas and underlines everywhere when its obviuos all the good handstyle are just simple letters, arrows and all those addons arent gunna make ur handstyle any better unless u know what ur doing, so if uve just started, lay off the add ones, just write simple letters

 

Thanks man. I guess i did over-do the drips. Haha. Not even the thinnest ink or paint will probably drip that bad, but I love how they look.

I really like it, but in my opinion (correct me if i'm wrong) the bottom left corner looks empty, or like its missing something

 

well i actually i did look through some of the pages your talking about and your right. my problem was instaid of useing the knowledge u have to crit someone u said "just give up". i have heard that all my life. not just with graff. and it just strikes a nerve with me. the second post u actually helped the kid out, pointed him in the right direction. thats how it needs to be.i have no beef with ya. as for handstyles guys u know what looks shitty and what looks good. as far as suckyness gos a lot of the stuff posted is very bad. go google "handstyles" and take a look at a style u think u like. try to emulate it. once u got it down then elaborate on it. make it better, make it yours. dont just go cop someones style and call it your own, but make it your style. odds are if u think it sucks then your probably right. dont even bother posting it if u think it needs improvement. unless u dont know how to improve it.


doom: i like that truth but i would get rid of that strange random dot/mark on the top right. and your extention coming off the H make it underline the T and the R instaid of going through it.

word, most of my favorite tags are simple and clean. complicated tags can look good if the writer knows what he/she are doing with the letters, and not just wack ass skribbles or crazy add ons.

 

yeah man thats exactly what im talking about, all writers need to start off simple if they wanna get a good looking tag cause ur not gunna now what ur doing with tech addons etc when ur just starting off, thanks for the crits fube and dajam, ill see what i can do

 

ok the letters are on a slant, that looks kinda weird, steiahgen them up and for the moment lose the underline, little corner bits above the tag and squiggly buit off the R, so yeah, straighten the letters up and lose all that stuff then repost.

yes much better CRS, now make the C the same size as the R and the S then try to slowly tweak the letters a bit more, while keeping them all the same size

Pask - keep ur letters the same size and width, do it with a chisel tip marker itd look alot better, just get the letters same width.size
