i like it man but im a fan of cartoony style . . imagine some heads aint feelin it cuz its too busy with random words and objects thrown on the page with no connection (look at the top one, all teh words and objects are on different planes making it look messy) . . people will tell you just do pencil sketches of letters and thats good advice if you want to follow the same path 95% of writers go down (shit i went down that path now my stuff looks just like everyone elses, i mean its cool to have alil somethin on lock but if you want to do something fresh and not copycat graf then you gotta start fresh) so i guess if 95% of the people on here tell you do blocks and simples that just means youre a 5 percenter . . my advice from a 95 percenters point of view is to work on your letters but keep teh karaks and themes and cartoon going . . find one or 2 fills that look good, easy to do and realtively simple (not busy to balance all the other things you like to add to your page) yuo know after writing all this ish i just remebered you posted somethin about how you never paint cuz you dont want to ruin your career . . . man your in high school, you should be tag banging everythin in sight . . . turn 18, stop tagging or atleast not as hot and start piecin and finding chill tunnels and what not . .
Sky...that advice has really opened my eyes...thats what iv actually been trying to do..but never been able to explain if you get me...i can tell that this advice youve just given me...is your personal advice youv follwed yourself..with the fills and all that...i bomb constantly in the winter time..but in the summer its harder..and yeah..like you said the top one has shit all over it..but iv learned how to do proper themed peices...like the bottom one...thanks for the adivce Rek....its sounds gay but..95%'er FOR LIFE ... haha

i tottally agree with nemz. i dont really like the fills youve been doing lately, but just your sketches before coloring.. :wub: and i really dont think that ras is going on a weird path, i think you need to get down basic block letters first to do ANY style, after that you can do whatever, but you need that basic understanding ECSPECIALLY for funky styles. edit-that musa a few pages back.. you havent improved at all, youve been told to do simples FOREVERRR and you havent and know you still suck. DO SIMPLES.

thats cuz your only a step behind me homes (no diss, u know what i mean) . .so props right back at ya yeah all my fills have been the same lately but im workin this kinda computer sharp edge multi color fill style out for a few months so it will always be in my back pocket when i need it down the road . . bounce - i think its better than your other stuff, alil less clumpy lumpy so the letters are lil more defined . . . some straight lines and sharp clean acute angles might help . .

Bubbles... :blink: ...i rekon bubbles wud pull the whole peice off...becuase the edges of the letters are fairly sharp...an cute curiular bubbles would look wrong...i think its fine as it is...
