Well I've been writing for 3 years made a few friends that graff when I first started I got some beef with a crew and I still have it. I've fucked them up they've fucked me up and it keeps going. But tomorrow it will end.

when i first started doing graffiti it was with a posca marker on the subways when i went to san fransisco from oakland. then my family moved to newyork when i was about 15 i started doing it then as well and i concidered it a step up when i started doing quick tags and throwups in the middle of the night in alleys and places where i only knew where they where. that was the early years when i was making my bones i had several offers to join crews and things that i would know i would come to regret so i refused because i never really cared much for gangs. i was in my third year of high school when i started peicing and bombing i never really racked cans because my father was an artist and he new what a necessity it was to have the paint you need and a studio, for my 18th birthday my mom and dad had all my presents and too my surprise nothing from my dads side had nothing to do later on after the party my dad gave me a check for 4000 dollars that he said i could only use for paint and that he had rented a studio for a year under my name. with the money i bought every single color i could find and i put them into the studio. as the years went by i started college majoring in industrial design at cca in san fransico. there i had 2 jobs 1 for paying college and 1 for funding my graffiti. once i dropped out of college my dad understood why and he didn't get upset but excepted it. here i am in san fransisco making a living

pretty much shit-all when i hear ur stories.

best = getting chased for piecing a bridge (didnt finish it, but went back 2 days later 2 finish)

worst = Having most of the graf i have done thats good(ish) painted over.

brought 2 friends into it and lost none. Never bin caught and nt gunna. parents know i do n just tell me not 2 get caught and that i have 2 pay any fines.

    peace

my only accomplishment in the graff game is, not dropping out. sometimes i wonder why i do it and i realize im wasting my life but then i realize that even if i wasnt doing graffiti id be wasting my life somehow. anyways graff is fun.

basically my first rooftop and i hit up a highway and some other pretty good spots that im proud to see everyday.ive gotten caught once and got charged with 6 felonys which were all droped cuz i was sucha "good kid" and plus people are retarded enough to listen to letters from my family.

im just glad im doing graffiti, and when i think about it,if i wasnt doing graffiti i would have no life.i wouldnt be part of such a huge and underground culture which basically has made my life worth living.but the things id do for graffiti somtimes scare me. ive jumped from a roof top which was pretty god damn tall onto concrete.ive ran through water to get away from cops that didnt even see me.ive walking a mile outta the way just to avoid main roads at 1 in the morning.and on top of it all ive been lieing to my mom for a year or so now.she thinks i do it legallly(sketching and peices of wood in the backyard with a legal name).thats the only reason i think id ever quit was if my mom found out or i died.

other then that i still have a long time to go.

best = giving a unique experince i know thats extremly vague but cant write/decribeit now but includes meething so many people, being down with who were your once top idols in this game, the feeling of free (less restrained more out of your will thats less influenced by ppls pressure in a way) like when bombing drunk ex: biking home whatever way you want zig zagging thru streets you never been before and just hitting up (which itslef is bleauh specific words to me just cant describe the feelings) meeting people overseas and around the continent just from the common intrest, theres so many attractions to the grafffiti itself just depends on the timwe liek you go thru your everyday thing then it stands out when it kinda contrasts non-graff related thoughts.. perhaps prvoking ideas to philosphze about up out to really broad degrees.. (i havent heard any of it some of the stuff i thought of and put togethor, but i felel it was still provked technicly dependent on this graff expeerince) etc etc etc

worst= not taking flix of ill spots that are now gone, especailly a few dope ones that didnt last more than acouple days... familly dissapointment (but now was worth it to philosophize about and have better idea of how to geet by smoothly inlife wilth still doing what you love), paranoia from being followed too often whenver in residential neighorhoods or certain deserted industrial neigbohoods heck even downtown.. feeling that everyone is against you in a way.. (tho now looking at it seems that people who oppose graffiti can kina feel same way the same for any postion in some sort of conflict), being arrested being scared with situations involving autority (even tho you know thats how they want you to feel and just never admit it) now thats all a joke tho, very near death expeirinces (especailly time fell thru a hole at least 100 meters from ground (obviously was prevented from dropping all the way), inhaling too much fucking paint fumes being contributing factor to me becoming pretty imid with all the other nasty ide effects it has on your brain etc etc etc

dawm fuck graffiti! mixed emotions of it but im glad im out of it to focus on other assiht...

graffing is the fucking shit running out and hitting whatever you feel like hitting whenever you feel like hitting it fuck. i also really love when old ppl or whatever their age group is yell at you on the bus cuz t gives you the opportunity to fight back and tell them what you really think of their opinions. i dont really have any huge hits but for my first year i'd say im getting around enough , not as much as i'd like cuz im a lazy ass stoner but enough i should say. nothing bad has really happened to me so far met enough chill peeps from the sickest crews in the city , one of my boys got into some shit with the 5-0 cuz they thought he was me which was kind of gay for him but its life and cops are fags what can i say. when it comes to inhaling the paint fumes , as bad as they are for you i love'em MONTANA YOU SMELL SO GOOD I LOVE YOU! i looked at some of my first sketches and they were pretty dirts so im happy with the style level ive achieved so far , the insane steeze will come in time with a little help from my friend mushroom and acid.

big ups to amtz gsm and the k6a boys
im surprised that fag waster hasnt posted here yet on of my graff acomplishements will be to beat the fuck out of that kid :D:D:D hold it down ppl

    word to what skrooeapatape said..

positive: I learned ALOT about people and the way they think and act. Not as individuals but as a group mainly. By seeing how people interacted with me, an unknown and unusual element to their daily lifes, I learned alot about how people integrate and move about their communities depending on where they are, what time, what their social background is etc.

I learned to appreciate myself and be self confident, probably the best thing I got out of graffiti is self confidence.

It has also motivated me to push my limits, given me a passion in something, goals in life and a name to live for.

Also showed me how much people are full of shit and to not take everything seriously, and that in the end if you want to win hard enough, you will.

negative: Court, jail, fines, etc. All the bad things that happen with arrests. Losing my liberty. Though in the end I have gained more liberty then I have lost so far. But graffiti brought along more then just itself, brought stealing, beef, etc.

All in all I love graffiti and it's something I take very to heart and that no matter what I will still try to keep on doing. It has become a lifestyle for me. And all the beef I get from people who did it as a hobby is jokes for me, cuz I see them come, beef with them for a year or two... if that... and then I see them dissapear... in the end... I'm still putting my name up.

    Cant stop, Wont stop.

Oh and another positive side... all the laughs i get out of bitches like whatsgoingon who think they are lil thugs and that they will somehow affect me grandly by beating me down.

get real... you suck. you're a toy. people have been talking about beating me down for over 2 years now. yet none of you have done shit all. hahaha while i keep on improving and making the gap between us even bigger.

taking graffiti to the next level is my goal. after 4 years and a very slow start (most writers get to my level in about 2 years or less) i have finally came to grasp alot about my goal and motivation in graff during the last year or so. all my achievements where pretty much realized during that year. doing a piece at -30C, hitting a watertower, doing a 15ft tall piece with only rollers, my ilovewastertwelve throwie. basicly going big and nice, thats my goal, im not much into quantity, thats not my forte, so ill stick to big dope shit... toys like clak and loc can be proud of their 10000 dirty tags...

its weird cuz in this past month ive been out painting instead of just catchin tags and sketchin ive accomplished alot personally but on a wider scale nothing for example almost anywhere you look within 10 blocks of where i live you'll see a tag throwup stencil sticker etc the same goes for the area around my highschool and almost all the cta stops on my way to school but when walkign around all of chicago im virtually unknown but graff has helped me meet people have fun and overall have fun
