alright, and i mean, i do both, drawing and printing, i just like how i can be alot more creative with photoshop and shit, but no store in my city has decos, all they have are prismacolor and copics, wich would be better?
for posters??? Neither dude. Those are blackbook markers, not poster markers, and Prismas are the absolute worst for outdoors. If you're gonna go ink, go Pilot, or Sharpie Magnums work just fine for posters. Black perferable. Blue and red fades significantly. Black will go a grip forreals. You'd be suprised. If you wanna go paint tho and they don't have deco's, there are plenty of other brands of paint markers... Vinyl billboards- Yeah, I'm sure wheatpaste would stick, sunlight would deff. be a a plus for that. The best way to figure out alot of this shit is thru experience... Up cats don't ask that many questions. They just go get up and learn from there mistakes. Now go cook some damn paste and get it over with. It's posters. You got a better chance of getting over than your average bomber.
I am looking for a great plastic container for my paste.. Something with a white mouth, seals up tight and is easy for me to dip my brush in.......... Any suggestions? Thanks =]
Bucket paint tin? Those are air tight i think. An are big enough or a brush. Theyd be a bit heavy though. Thats what i'm using.
Thanks Tri1, but that is what I am currently using... I want something that I can easily open and reseal And Game905, make a more pointless and obvious post?
Can't you get those plastic bucket paint cans that are ment to be east open? Theres nothing els i can really think of thats big enough for a brush.
so this is my first post in here ive been into graff for a while and love every aspect of it and cz3r props on yer shit its sick and dude doin the pandas and shit thats ILL fer sure. so now that thats outa the way i just started wheat pasting and read all 12 pages and im lucky enough to have photocopier at my expense but my problem is my shit will not stay up so is it ok to use a photocopier or is that my problem.. not to sound like a nood/toy/tool
It's your paste. You haven't got the mix right. I'm assuming you're using regular printing paper. Soak the wall down heavy with paste. Apply poster- smooth out as best possible. Apply second coat of paste over the poster to seal it in. You're good to go.
yea im using regualr paper, and i do need to work on my mix i havnt quite gotten it perfected yet. thanks homie
I dont know about you all, but it takes me 1 1/2 hours to get my mix where I want it... I make it in my Underwear while listening to HED PE, lol I add a dash of sugar, as well
Working on it right now.. I need to align it up and finish the fills.. but damn it is a jumbo paint marker killer! OH YEAH, that is a Yard stick thrown on it for perspective.. Finally got that POS poster done... The measurements are this.... 5 foot 3 inches long 4 foot 8 inches tall
in highschool i had a stencil and poster class. i wish i woulda used it more to my advantage while i had free supplies and the 15,000 equiptment they had just bought. getten kicked out sucks. expecially when you took the same class twice a day, usually missing every one
Well this, as with many of my other creations, all lead back to my Ghetto Projector... Don't know what it is and would like to know? Read back a few pages or so.. But I just simply first put up all of those pages on my wall, got a pencil and then outlined it from my ghetto projector and then did a larger outline with Jumbo Sharpie Paint Markers, great free marker, and then took it down, cut it out and now I finished all of the fill ins.... Took four of the Sharpie jumbos and I just did the clear coating over it.. Came out great and I am rather pleased with it... Its all in common sense and T&E My friend (trial and error) I just realised I might not have answered it the way you wanted... When I paste it up, it is basically a large puzzle. Just line the peices up good and paste em
