not only are you not using bars properly (keep them all the same width!) do not just bite sky5(Skeelo) that will not help, trust me, ive tried that shit no lies, youve gotta devolop every fucking nuance on your own or it just doesnt work. use sky5's help just for basic form to try to morph your letters to, or as pure inspiration. next, dont bother with 3d, forcefields, or 3d until ur much better, focus on the LETTERS.
iris i would try developing yer own style instead of using other peoples styles.. there are enough people who do that kinda stuff, fat spots with skinny bars linking out places, like ensoe.. but theirs have structure and they most likely developed the style themselves... but yeh id start with basics FRAT the ME is noice.. just need more space for a K

alive u might wanna make the top bar of the O come across to take up the negative space between the L and O.. does it say GLO or CLO? ..in the case thats its a G make the middle bar more visible
