my friends dad made us a little room in the back of his garage. it wasmade so hecould put his drums in there and we could make a band. but then we started painting on the walls. and we keep going overour old stuff. its pretty cool.
I practice in this sewer tunnel thing. I don't know, it's not really a sewer, cause there is only 2 1/2 feet wide of water running through it, and about 3-4 feet of dry concrete on each side of the water. And you don't have to duck to go in it, but I do anyway cause every inch of the ceiling is covered in spider webs. The only other shit painted in there is stuff like "_____ was here" and "SMOKE WEED", and a few tags from actual writers. And it goes on for a loooong ass time, with mainly blank walls in the deeper darker part. Last place i'll ever get busted too, so you can even load up a bong in there then paint for a long time.
I practice on a wall in my yard. I grab some paint, do a piece, then go over it. Better than under a bridge because even though the surface isn't as nice, the lighting is alot better and no chance of getting caught.
I have been keeping my eye out for abandoned buildings around where I live. Well I found this one that had just gone to hell, with shit everywhere, it was a wreck. There was already some toy (more toy than me) that went through with a bunch of just lame tags and almost gang graffiti lookin type shit. I decided I didnt really want to paint there cuz it was just so dumpy. Then I found a house closer to mine that was abandoned that doesn't ahve shit everyone. there is like broken glass and shit on the ground but its like a big house. In its prime it was probly worth like 2 million. So I just go in there and none of the walls have been touched with a can and they are like off white colored and its just bliss. I love it.
I practice at a chilled tunnel called Leeside. there are never cops there. other than leeside, i practice at a ghetto ass abandoned building. otherwise i just out at night.
i climb onto the roof of my old elementary school to practice painting. i actually refer to it as my 'practice wall' when talking about it with my buddy that writes. it's a pretty big wall to cover considering i don't do ENORMOUS bombs yet, still developing a style. and since it's elementary school, most of this shit there (if any at all) is shit like "i love karly" or "karly is so hot" or pictures of karly's hot body drawn by 10 year olds. so i feel prideful when i go over them .
theres a wall out the back of on of the supermarkets where i live where everyone goes to practice stuff and no ever minds.
