I didn't mean have you used it for stencils. I meant has anyone used it for anything. Including single stroke rollers and stuff like that.
no the other only marsh marker Ive seen used is the Marsh fountain marker. its almost like a brush I think only one store online stocks them they're dope tho
I'm waiting on my fountain in the mail... Rogue let me in on where to get a mad cheap one. I paid five bucks. Rock on. Don't pay 40 for em they're not worth it.
Ill edit this later tonight with a pic but at the moment, 1 flowpen (one in the mail/ otr streetduster neon green) 1 large nib markswell 3 zig postermans 3 homemades-one shoepolish, one eyedropper, and one gluestick. and i have one of those empty junobo markers coming in the mail
phers i see the possibilities with this .. very dope havent used one before but i could imagine some crazy block letter drippy tags or some big ass stencils .. if you ever use it plz post it up id like to see how it turns out
i just bought some uni-poscas today, anyway to mod them? WHERE THE FUCK IS ROGUE AND CODE! is there anyway to mod a jiffy marker too?
i took one of those, cut a hole in the bottom, emptied it. filled it with ink. duct tape the bottom. works real nice. when you out of ink. cut a hole thru the duct tape and fill, then retape i guess.
Just stopping in, still nothing has really changed..... Uni-Posca's are awsome markers. The nibs will last you forever like a Pilot nib would. Just open it like you would a zig, and refill.
dude alright need some fucking helpi just made me an glue stick marker look great did everything right or so i thought driped wax in the bottem did evrything but the ink still leaks out the bottem what did i do wrong or what can i do to fix it plz help peace
u say fuck it throw it away go to your local art store and grab a zig empty shit outta zig fill with your own or go to your local grocery store get a kiwi put it in your pocket walk home empty out or mix with your ink for extra stainage
careful with zig 2-in-ones - I never had this problem with woodcrafts, just the smaller glue pens - occasionally you get one where the threads are mildly warped, and after you fill it with ink and use it, it pisses ink all over your hand from the threading. It's hard to notice before it happens because it tightens up and sits right but the threads aren't thick enough so it seeps up and out the cracks. I even tried wrapping the thing with tape after tightening the nib on but that doesn't help, alcohol based inks seem to go right past electrical tape adhesive. this could be a bad batch in my local area as all the ones I have that are doing this came from the same store, but I figured I'd put it out there so nobody else spends a week scrubbing blue ink off their palms.
I run a plumbing company. I have tons of teflon tape. Teflon tape won't work because the specific alcohol I'm using as a base breaks it down fairly quickly. Trust me, I've tried. My solution has been to use "dum-dum" - that's the industry nickname for Solid Silicon Strip Caulking... we used it in the 12volt industry to seal holes made for running wires through the firewall and such. It's basically silicon caulk that comes in strips instead of a tube, and it's not quite as sticky and always remains the same consistency. You can peel it off a year later and use it again. I put that around the threads before locking the nib down and that works well, but eventually the ink will find it's way out and I have to replace the dum-dum... I should just stick with woodcrafts haha.
dam man, use your brain. drip more wax in it. turn the bottom until you cant turn it anymore. check for cracks.
thats how thing work buddy, if u got too much wax, and your still got ink comin out you probably got cracks. so put your ink back, and make a new one.
or go get a fuckin mop and solve this problem the easy way. if u cant get a mop get one of the squeezy glue pens. i found these little glitter pens that would be perfect, now i just gotta get my lazy ass out to dollarama and steal them
