No way, those "Shape-Ups" are a great way to get hip and ankle fractures. If you own a pair I advise you to destroy them IMMEDIATELY. They are possibly the worst shoe ever made for bombing. You need to get on the Velcro equipped Starter brand shoes. You will be out running cops, no sweat! Just look at those sporty looks, they are made to go fast with ease.
Naw guys you want a pair of ROOS cause they got the velcro and a condom pocket or whatever you wanna put in it, a pair of quarters so you can make a phone call from thr last payphone in your city after you lose your cell, runnin from the cops. Or some of these Jeremy Scott X Adidas ball shoes so you can exprezs your own style of vigilante justice on your little gotham.
lol im glad this is a thread tbh. ive used all kinds of shoes walking routes. ive done like 25 mile nites in like crap shoes and could hardly walk the next day. used to use new balance 574s but one night the skin on the top of my foot was peeling off and it was a bloody mess. im all about the Adidas busenitz now.
Na na I dont skate anymore but i did get a pair of DCs, Lieutenant WR shoes before they tirned them into boots, got them for like $30 at zumiez midsummer and theyre still together 2 years and lots of insoles later. the leather wasnt really up for 800psi so I got a little spot on the toe where its a bit tore up.
