Lol thanks dude, I tried everything my phone would let me but nothing worked. And nice work man, I was gonna do those little virus things too but they just didn't come out right. Oh well.
Haven't wrote in a while (like 2ish years) so when I saw this earlier I was actually hyped to start again... Then I saw that it was due today and realized I was done for cause I couldn't get to my supplies. So with a mechanical pencil, printer paper, 5 different sketches, and about 4 hours messing around with Photoshop and Illustrator, I ended up with this. If y'all don't wanna count it thats cool with me, I'm just glad I had a reason to start getting back into writing. Oh, and @Hand-s GMV. That shits tough.
First off, thanks to everyone for turn out on the Sars battle and on that note let's keep the energy going. New Battle word is : DEMS Due on Friday 15th. Hope we have a good turn out too, Let's Fuckin' Battle!!
Not that I want you to reveal all your secrets. But did you do that in pencil first then color it? Or was it colored pencils or...? That's the sickest style in my opinion...just curious how you thought of that...
Word thanks, it's not the most unique type of fill though, was inspired a bit by sketch fills I've seen from other writers. Ekose in particular. Always wanted to do one of those multi-colored outlines. Anyways I start with a rough sketch in pencil to set the base idea down and to make sure all my lines are proportioned and flow right (https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1688/26287508016_01748a3405_c.jpg), then I erase it as I ink. Certain details are only done in ink since it would just be an unnecessary waste of time to draw them twice, unless I'm just experimenting with an idea I might scrap and would need to erase.
i cannot possibly imagine spending that much time and effort on a battle for a forum but still nice af. D-M connection is great.
Haha thx. I did it mainly to get back into sketching. Entering the battle was just a side bonus I guess since I liked the word DEMS and wanted to sketch it.
