Write with limitations first. By that I mean Do your letters individually. Until you love em. Force the angle of your letters to be the same. Try backward slant then straight then forward and see what you prefer. Try to use the same mouvements in your letters, same top/bottom or both. Use the same connector between the letter of your tag, it helps the flow when you can write your name without lifting the pen. Obviously the dot on "I" and the "T" line don't count.
Hey what is that...cause I was like yo that's cool he made a animal shape out of the letters then I was like what kind of an animal is it must be a Narwhale or something but Narwhales don't look like that.. then I was like...yo, it kinda looks like a Humpback Whale with a Humming Birds head. Like some kind of mystical creature.
I just started out with random shapes and didn't intend on making any particular thing, but I think it turned inot like a raptor or pheonix sorta thing.
Do you know where to begin to start learning calligraphy, like a good font for beginner to start. I finally got a pilot pen.
Find a begginer book. I got one for like 3 dollars at Ross and practiced with highlighters. Gothic and Unical alphabets are good starts.
First throwie with my new name, and i got a little bored after and added the wavey things. (I wrote it on the back of a notebook so sorry for the shitty edges) Thoughts?
FLOW Is a nice name, I suggest you make your letters the same size and keeping them simple until you find one throwup that you like. Then garnishing it with a simple character or style. Throwups have a simple esthetic to them by nature so, you might want to find a way to so it as a one liner. I'll do one for you, give me a minute.
