I looked through about 8 pages and didn't see a thread.
feel free to merge if it is one.

there is a movies and music thread, so why not a thread for books?
not every writer is an illiterate mother fucker.
    :)

i am into true crime books.
    specifically, about serial killers.

i just picked up a new book today about the hillside stranglers.
in the past couple months i've read about the green river killer, gary ridgeway
    and richard ramirez.

i've also read a few books about serial killers in general.

    so, bombing science...
what is your book genre of choice, what is your favorite(s), what are you currently reading?

If you're interested in serial killer murder literature, give Tim Dorsey a shot. Serge Storms will become one of your favorite characters immediately; that is, if you pick on the humor in the murders.

Yes, but I'll guarantee you he kills off his "prey" in a manner that'll inspire serial killers all over the world, if he hasn't already.

    I'm an atheist,
Although I find Therevada Buddhist teachings incredibly insightful, and I agree with all the morals and ethics that the teachings lay out. I think it's the best religion out there.
