Brand New Heavies - Heavy Rhyme Experience:
    http://rapidshare.com/files/74939732/The_Brand_New_Heavies_-_Heavy_Rhyme_Experience__Vol._1.rar

The brand new heavies are an acid jazz and funk group group formed in 1985 in Ealing, a suburb of london England.

The group's appearance with MC Serch (formerly of 3rd Bass) and Q-Tip (of A Tribe Called Quest) at a performance in New York City, inspired the group to incorporate elements of Hip Hop music. Their next album was the critically acclaimed Heavy Rhyme Experience vol. 1, which included collaborations with Guru of Gang Starr and The Pharcyde, among others, but lacked any female vocals.

    (Copied off Wikipedia)

Basically if you like Hip Hop and funk then you'll love this. The track death threat featuring Kool G Rap is easily one of G Rap's best songs. It's interesting because they are using live beats instead of sampling.

    I DID NOT UP THIS.

Uhm, just quality beats really. I am really into jedi mind tricks and the army of the pharaohs. I listen to mostly underground but I am really a fan of any type of beat whether it be mainstream or underground.

Dude you're doing it wrong... everyone knows your first post in this thread is meant to be a short, unnecessary list of entry-level underground hip-hop that everyone knows, with nothing else... maybe some times comments like "The real shit!" or "These cats are dope, you should check them out." (its been several hundred pages, you seriously think we havent heard of Immortal technique?)

    e.g.

    Aesop rock.
    Atmosphere.
    Mos Def.
    Talib Kweli.
    Jedi Mind Tricks.
    Immortal technique.
    etc. etc. etc.

    Stoopid...

    ^_^

EDIT: Said, don't think i forgot, i'm uppind that assorted tandem and kazkami as i type this, and unless anyone else is interested in french rap, i'll pm it to you.
