So I picked up one of these yesterday from dollar store, to try for making a steel rollerball marker like the ones OTR and Molatov make. Seems like it would work but It leaks more than it paints, using a homemade GK made of 2 parts blue oil paint and one part paint thinner/mineral spirits.

Maybe need to thicken the paint?

No worries I've got the same problem haha. Any suggestions on how(asking seriously as I'm still pretty new to mixing for paint, ink etc) I'm also wondering if i may have lost a piece when I was taking the top off. Either way it works just leaks and streaks a bit. Figured if it worked it would be a cheaper way to get rollerball tips compared to buying the OTR or Art Primo ones.
