    yup i caught akira (did you know there are 2 diff japanesse to english translation versions) and the departed the other night (good flick, not on a godfather or goodfellas level more donnie brasco) . . . gonna watch spun tonight, dont know much about the movie but im pretty sure ive seen it before . . . . i hate TV, so i got netflix instead of cable . .

    lol damn between kayones photoediting abilities and AK47s sig this is probalyy the gayest page on bombingscience . . .

    The original Akira was done in 1988, with the english language dub being done hurriedly in an attempt to make it semi-marketable...Didn't really work too well. Terribly done. That having been said, the Japanese audio was matched 100% to the animation, as the voices had been recorded before hand. Perfect sychronization.

    The second release was in 2001 after Manga Entertainment bought the rights to it. The English dub was done far better...however, the subtitles are still the best way to go. The Japanese synch was still done impeccably, while not 100% accurate.

    just watched the bourne identity and supremacy the other day, those are some dope films, i've heard crank is pretty intense too i think thats the next one im'a see

    yeah, I just saw "Bomb the System", hard to watch, it's really bad and seems kinda inaccurate also some parts were kinda retarded, couldn't even wath the whole movie. <_<

    i didnt know all the details thanks for the heads up yak, subtitles are always the way to go but i like the original english dub version better . . spun was alright, def wouldnt watch it again thoo . .
