This is encouraging, I have only been writing for about 6 months and i am getting frustrated because i feel im not progressing fast enough, but its good to know that it takes time to develop and as long as i keep working my "style" will come in due time.

I started writing in the end of 8th grade, i'm now going into 12th so thats what, 4 years? if that. I dont do a whole lot of painting, which I think isn't helping me very much, and I still don't consider myself very good at all. I have an alright tag, good enough to paint publicly, but anything besides that its pretty shoddy, Atlok don't feel like your the only one who improves at that kind of pace.
you will progress depending on how much u put into it like i know this kid who has been writing for as long as me and he only sketches 5 min before we go painting me, on the other hand, spend at least an hour or two sketching a day the first pic is from when i started 3 months ago and the second is something from last night
o, i also forgot... dont use any graffiti creator or wutever cuz pple will be able to tell when they look at it and u also arent doing anything to develop ur own style years from now u wont be able to paint anything else or improvise because u never took the time to learn about letture structure and how to create flow for urself srry about rambling lol
it was about 6 or 7 months for me but i had alot of good writers around me helping and paintin with me alot and that was a huge help.
I started about 3 months ago and there is definitly a large fdifference in between my style at the the start and how it is now. I still suck tho I have a good proverb : ''once you've hit the bottom, its always easier to go up'' And since we toys start pretty much at the bottom...

i didnt say 6 years... i said it took me about 6 months to start seein any progression. something i did yesterday a outline i did for someone
the zombies better than the other...so i stand corrected... and ok. ill post sum stuff up when i get home..cant do nothin at work.
i started when i was about 11 and kept on practicing i am now 13 and you can tell the difference of style with ease.
^^^^^ Lol ... no offence ... but i had a REAL HARD time trying to find the difference.. ^^^^^^^ Still waiting for it to get better ... havent even got a style down yet ... or even letters.
