Man is the Bastard Infest No Comment Crossed Out Capitalist Casualties Manpig Fuck on the Beach Mind Eraser Pissed Happy Children Spazz The Ultimate Warriors and i remember you talking about that Charles Bronson vinyl.
im not sure if these are 'powerviolence' bands but they might be. check out: Bracewar Radical Attack Attitude Meltdown And Down Goes Frazier and of course Outbreak.
none of those bands are PV. Cap Casualties are closer to PV than anything. PV isn't actually a genre.
sorry mister picky
It really isn't, but i'm not gonna get into this arguement again, as i've fallen into it on several occasions. I'm just gonna say that PV was a joke label put onto some bands from a certain scene like Crossed Out, Lack of Interest, Man is the Bastard, Neanderthal, No Comment, etc etc. It wasn't based on sound. It was a joke. nothing more. The genre of it all would actually just be hardcore, fast and intense hardcore at that, but still just hardcore. look it up.
but power violence is an easier understood and more defined word than saying "fast and intense hardcore" is it not? i was only asking for band names, not asking whether or not it was a legit genre
hahah i'm friends with the drummer from ADGF. he plays bass for Hollywood most of the time now. you should check them out. i didn't even know ADGF were that known.

yeah, my old pop punk band played a show with them in Charlotte NC last year with Thieves And Assassins, in a car-repair shop. It was fun as shit, and ADGF ruled. Bummer they broke up.
