Hi I am translating an article about a Spanish graffiti artist and I am having trouble finding the correct use of a term. Here it is: When you do a production and collaborate with other artists, you say you "do" a production or is there other verb that is normally used. In Spanish we say "to record a production" but I don't think you phrase it that way in English. Help? Also I have no idea how this works...
Not exactly new, lurked on these forums since my highschool days, just never made an account until recently. 35 year old male from STL/CHI. Been writing off and on since 95. All my homies are getting back in so they gt me hooked again. Glad I did bc I haven't been happier ever, literally.
Can I use this site to show my pieces to experienced writers- or anyone else really- to ask if I’m a toy? I’m not a beginner but I might be a toy because I use wild style and halos and all that 80’s stuff.
If you get up, you get up. As long your style isn't super wack or you dont do 100% legal walls and call yourself a writer then nobody can call you a toy. 99% people who use that word don't even get up at all and never have. Ignore haters and have fun, fill them blackbooks up first.
Ok thanks- agree with all of that: the legal walls, getting up etc…. “As long as your style isn’t super whack”….I think it probably is ! But I don’t know- interested though whether it is. Arrows, clouds, and all those details from the 80’s I think is probably super whack?
Best way to grow as a writer isn ot give a fuck what people say.. alot of gatekeepers in this Era and it's pathetic..do your thing man.
Kemzie,. Female- 32 I'm painting with a mostly outdated crew called TUB out of the U.K. from '84 near Barton Hill in the south. I'm here to read, develop and do my own thing. Idgaf what anyone else does here. It's a home base for a lot of fine work, some still being added. Compliments and credit where it's owed, of course but I stick to myself.
