i am trying to thicken some ink.
what is my best bet to do that?

 

let it sit out uncovered for a day, and or add carbon pow\der

 

well i googled carbon powder.
and like i can't find a legit site to by it.
there's no like product search for it really.
and all the sites to it are quite confusing.
know where i can cop some?
i am using texas marker ink btw.

grog i hear doesnt, or any paint. oink is good too. and for carbon powder, just burn soem wood, and scrape off the black parts, crush it up and ta da

haha i just recently found out my family has a bunch of flowers

and theyre called Casa Blanca lillies

when they bloom they produce spores that release an unbelievably permanent powder. people were saying to try not to even get the spores on your skin, because it wont come off for weeks.

Yes, burn any wood, but a more dense wood would probably procure more ashes.

 

yea, and if when u crush it up it isnt completely balc, burn it more, u dotn wanna be addign just plain wood to ur ink haha

 

Hahaha, try to grind it up really finely as well, just use a pestle and mortar to crush it up.

 

Thats impure, and of a different chemical structure to pure carbon (only slightly, one or two different joins) but still. use artist charcoal.. There has been a slight bit of shit of the bull lately

 

hey bizerkk while ur here, can i thin bitumen with methanol or only naptha? and for methanol, i hear its basically the mian ingredient in antifreeze, sicne i cant find it in bi coantiners at liek home depot, shud i just get that? or does it have lots of other shit in it?
