I haven't done stencils in a long time so I kind of had to start all over again. Can't control my blade that good anymore.
    Here's my newest one.

I have a pretty good stencil idea and I want to paint it on a shirt. Totally new to this. I like doing high contrast. If I want to make a shirt, what paint and other things do I use.

I'm going to make it again this time not going off the page.
    indigo - sweet
diostah - cool but it looks kinda confusing.Especially the neck area.

Been working on some more stuff...This was just practice on shitty scrap foamboard.

First....my first attempt ever using a mop (I get as many free kiwis as I can fit in my pockets sicne the store I work at sells them) with paint marker highlights:

And second, a 3 layer stencil of an African Child soldier I'm working on. Obviously I didn't line up the gun stencil well on the test spray, and the arms need to be fixed before I actually spray it. Any other advice before I put it up in a couple days.

head slug - uhhh kinda weird, work on the characters...

kaiser - i like the stencil of that african child soldier but i think you added too much to it, with the drips and stuff, and it looks kinda messy...

this is my first stencil ever. i drew my flip flops. i used a thin plastic sheet which worked really well and an exacto knife. i used acrylic on my sketchbook but i'm gonna use some textile paints and make a nice t-shirt....

the first one is my original drawing.

    this is the end product

Thanks both of you. The stencil was just a practice spray, and the drips and stuff were just things I was playing with, deffinately won't be on the real stencil when I put it up.

Head slug, love the colors, and the characters look great.

crevette: Not entirely sure I understand the plastic sheet stuff, but it looks sick either way.

crevette, you should probably add another bridge to the puma. the way it is now that section will be very floppy and you'll get a shitload of underspray.

Yeah def for spray paints i'll make a bridge, but the problem is where to put so as to not deform the puma logo too much... With brush paints it doesn't seem to be much of a prob for now...

yeah it would have to come off its back leg or something.

maybe you could try spraying the back of the stencil with a gentle spray adhesive
