i use poly paste and it works great mix it with some mod podge too.

it's easy to rack (both items) and you dont have to go through all the hassle of all the steps required to make a decent wheat paste. jsut add water and go!

mod podge works great especially the concentrate that you can get.. because all you have to do is mix it with water and you can make as much as you want .. def worth buying or racking either way its pretty cheap..

Question: I have little to no knowledge of constructing posters via PC. I have a design and I have the size I want to print it out on, but I read on the forum that A4 Printing paper (the standard I guess) wasn't desirable. I know other mediums, but I don't know how to apply my PC work to those mediums (all I know about is printing out of a printer and a copy machine...all of which use A4 paper right?)

So if you could disect what I'm getting at through that confusion I ask this. What is the exact process of printing out PC made work on other meduims (such as wrapping paper or Xerox) or are those mediums reserved for hand made art?

take the image to your local stationary shop, and make copies.

they have the decent paper needed.

Well said Cerex. ;)All true. That poster took a couple minutes. I had to bring over a dumpster and stand on it, splash a jug of paste on the wall, and use a 2 dollar broom from Target to spread it. Then I started at the top pressingdown and splashing more paste while a homegirl straightened out the bottom and worked my way down.

my problem with rasterbator has been that it does that half tone print, single color comprised of dots. Fine for two-tone or half-tone images (like george bush in my avatar) but terrible for anything intricate. If it's got a lot of small detail it tends to be lost.

I tried to blow an image up in photoshop to a1, then crop out individual page-sized images, and print them, but it didn't line up quite perfectly. It wasn't a bad first attempt. If I can get it to work, I will put it into a Photoshop script and make it available. I'm pretty sure it can be automated.

Anyone else know any other ways to enlarge an image to that kind of size?
