For a project in my visual arts class, I was going to do a stencil... Tuesday I put the first color down. Yesterday when I went to put the second and third colors down, the paint started bubbling up and ripping off. It was really moist outside, so I was thinking it may have been that. I also heard something about putting enamel on latex or something. View attachment 238500 View attachment 238501 View attachment 238502 I didn't see the point in finishing, so the top of the head looks funny (the hair was going to cover that up). Does anyone know what happened, so I can avoid this later?
Uhhh, what did you put the stencil on? And it COULD be to much paint, just do light coats, and if u want it darker, do another light coat.
yeah it looks like 2 diffrent kinds of paint, did you let the first layer dry completely? your not painting in the cold right?
Yo man I been doin stencils for a long time and this shit has happened to me. Your best bet it to put VERY light coats on it. A few coats may be necessary to completely cover it, by under no circumstances put a heavy coat onto another color on any non-porous surface. If this doesn't help you, sorry. And DON'T do it in the cold if you can help it. BTW, where the fuck did this come from. This art project was due years ago. Seriously, check the date of the first post.
i think every one who just try to ask a guy who obvosly hasent been on here in 3 years questions should be shot >_< wtf ppl
