I've used them to add highlights on some of my work. I like them, but what I use for the shading and base colors are Prismacolor markers. They don't blend very well.. I'm looking for something that'll blend better. The paper is thin in my blackbook, so that could be an issue.
Leave your suggestions for favorite marker brands and paper?

I work with Charpak, Charpak Spektra, Prismacolor and Artezza alcohol markers. They all are suitable but, from the bunch I like the Spektra the most and Artezza the least. Charpak's have the best bleed so you may want to look into that.
Pintar, Molotow, Posca, Artezza and TooliArt for acrylic markers. Oddly enough my favorites are the TooliArt ones. For the range in color and price it's hard to beat
