That was scratchboard, took a very long time.

 

any tips for help with oil pastels....ive decided i cant use them haha. everything is smudgy and messy..havent used them since freshman year..
like this is the crappy outcome...

 

I would actually suggest not using oil pastels, they really don't dry.
You should try using a mixture of watercolour, prismacolour, and pen. Post the results too, you have to play around with it for a while, but it's easy to get the hang of.

 

Not nearly as good as most of the dope shit in here but whatever
